How much drop?

I have a 92 prelude with 17's - want to put on lowering springs to elimanate the fender gap. Don't want the slammed look but hate the gap. I was looking at the Eibach's, I didn't want to just get the prokit and be mad that I should have gotten the sportlines...any suggestions? Would I have to get a camber kit with either? I drive 2000 miles a month, so don't want to eat through tires more than neccessary...
