I just purchased a new 2007 Town and Country on Saturday, and I now would like to know what types of problems you all have had, or even the good things... I am planning on installing a hitch, for some light towing. Anyone have any info they can pass along would be great!

Don't own one but I'm a regular on several forums.

2007s are too new to hear much about them. Of course as with any car as they age they start having problems. Some 4th generation minivans seem to be plagued with suspension noises, electrical accessory issues and rusting rear heater supply tubing, especially if you live in the rust belt. Keeping up with scheduled maintenance is very important.

If you're going to tow in a mountainous region, consider installing an aux transmission cooler.

Though this website is full of great info here's another that may fill in the gaps: http://forum.chryslerminivan.net/forumdisplay.php?f=5

how would one go about installing a transmission cooler? I've looked at them, but I have no clue on where and how these are installed!

Premature rusting , have a 2004 and am already seeing major paint bubbling on both the hood and rear hatch even though I baby the vehicle and wash it regularly and wax it twice a year . This has been caused by failure of the seams on the folded edge on the underside of the hood and hatch .The seams have badly cracked which has allowed moisture and salt into the interior side of the panels. Other stuff so far , swaybar links , egr valve , extreme brake dusting on the front from the cheapo pads they use, gets baked on and looks like heck. Was under the car the other day and am seeing the rusting on the rear coolant line and also on the oil cooler outlets severe (has tow package). Have always been a chrysler guy but will think twice after this about getting another one , I shouldn't be seeing this already on a $30000 vehicle.
