Lost keyless entry remote...car is locked

I lost my keyless entry remote and my car is locked, alarm is on. Will it go off if I open the door with my key? Is there anything I can do??????

It would help to post the year and model Grand Prix. It depends on the (MALL) multi-function alarm lock settings and whether you have the content alarm system installed. Even if it does it should eventually reset. Won't hurt to give it try.

Sorry about that! It is a 2002 Grand Prix SE. It's the factory alarm, and that's all I know about it :(

Since it is an SE model, for the optional content alarm which monitors sensitivity do you have the red LED on the dash?

Regardless just unlock the door with the key. If the alarm continues then insert key into ignition to ON and it should disarm.
