Who manufactured them?

I thought it was in DA, but after a quick skim read I couldn't find it. Seeing as they are lifed items, and very important, perhaps Mclaren designed and built their own?

I can see them designing it but as far as I know even their Formula one bag tanks are made by an outside specialist, I would welcome correction on this however with anyone with definate information.

I was thinking that maybe ATL built them, but was looking for clarification.

I have it on good authority (:worshippy) that these people had something to do with the Fuel cells ;)

Okay. I actually went on a search re: ATL and the F1 but only came up with a few quotes suggesting they were the ONLY FIA approved supplier to Formula One, but as we'll ALL be aware ... go on ANY search re: McLaren F1 - and Hamilton and Co. comes up in the majority of links.

Premier fuel systems is correct Greg.
Maybe your source also owns an F1  , as he would have seen the Premier systems sticker on the fuel tank bulkhead just above the left hand engine mount.

Nope. I stuck with black as I thought it was a bit less obtrusive than the blue. I've had it with other stand-out-from-the-crowd-cars I've owned before. "I saw you parked up on Friday night at [enter address]!" Yeah! Right! In front of my ex-wife who thought I was elsewhere! ;)
No photo's yet of the car as is, as I need to sort out where my camera and leads after after my recent move.

Smart move
Keep the blue reserved for your F1 :grinyes: (hypothetically speaking)

Even smarter, standing nonchalantly in front of the ex-wife, rather than letting him catch you when you were behind her. Could have been awkward.
Well played.:D
