Damn man, that's nice! Is it just the way the picture was taken or is that a clear decal?

clear decal? the panoz logo? it's silverYes, I can see that. But the areas that are generally blue and red look to be clear, letting the black show through.

aww ok, the logo is all silver with the color removed/cleared out, wanted it to look more like a normal hood emblem...

Car looks GREAT.
One nice little touch - we did - was to spray a little red on the tow strap :naughty:

How are you going to keep the front from getting sandblasted?

I am very partial to black cars and sometimes I think I may want to paint the Panoz. But then I look at the plastic on my car and think of how it would look if that were paint. Although... I seem to recall a spray on paint shield that some race teams have used to keep from needing to repaint their cars so often. I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is. Lou Gigliotti is using this stuff on his Corvette so I'm thinking it works pretty well in a racing environment. The reason I mention a spray is because I would think it'd be a real hassle to apply film to the front of one of these cars. I'd rather just mask it and shoot it. Supposedly ArmorCoat doesn't sell this stuff to the "general public". Lou G is selling it though.

Here's a video on how this stuff goes on...

Not very weel anyway!~ ;-) JK

We are going to be using clearbra for the front ends of the cars. as well as the undersides of the rockerpanels. Also a good quality clearcoat helps also.

Click on that link to LG. It says $150 for 2 pints. I'd rather eat glass than screw with film. You should try this and then throw rocks at the car and report back on how well it works.
