So I have a carpc which I have just replaced with a mac mini and carnetix p2140 power supply (totally irrelevant information). The power supply has a IGN wire which is used to start up and shut down the computer. My question is, what wire should I splice this with and where is it?
Thanks in advance!

Look for a ign powered terminal either in the under hood box or under the rear seat fuse/relay center.

Would it be possible to attach it to the ACC wire (ign1) on the ignition? If im correct this is pink? This way it comes on in the ACC position. A tap splice should do it correct?
Or is this a risky venture?

Your circuit has it's own fuse? I would still use an accessory feed out of one of the fuse boxes.
