Passat Door Locked

:frown: :frown: The drivers door on my 1998 passat has locked, It will not open from the outside or inside, the key barrel is broke and the key fob will not unlock it. I am sure that I will have to take the panel off, but how can I do this if I can not open the door. Can somebody please help as I am tired of climbing through the passanger door.

open the driver door and remove the t30 bolt that holds the handle in and remove the handle from the car and replace the broken rod for the lock cylinder.
