2001 silverado mirror temp sensor location

Guys I'm new to the team I wants to know if any one knows the location of the temp sensor for the mirror.

this should be behind the front grille just under the top cross member...

When standing in front of the grill looking at the engine, it's to the right, behind the grill and next to the hood release. It looks like a small gray sugar cube with a electrical connector coming off it with 2 wires

actually, it's much lower than hood release and to the rigght. stick is sitting right against it. there are 2 pieces in there, you need one to the left, towards the midline of the truck. but it does look like greenish sugar cube.
