97 Grand Am extra wire?!?

I just took out my a/c compressor and put in a by pass pully and changed my radiator on my 97 3100 automatic Grand Am. Now I have two extra wires. I know that the one went to my a/c so no problem there... but I have a wire that runs along the passenger side of my car next to where my coolant holder thing is. Ok I thought it was the thing that plugs into the bottom of it but it is already in there! The wire goes all the way to the front of the car and has three connections in it (they make a triangle not a strait line). The car starts but I am worried because I was trying to bleed my cooling system and my fan never kicked on. Yes I pluged in the thing for my fan. I had to turn my car off and am waiting for it to cool down cause I was leaking trans. fluid and need to tighten up my bottom line. (Leave it to a woman to not tighten stuff up!) So help...Please!?!?!

It is probly the AC high pressure switch which is located on the pass side on top of the ac condenser coil, close to the top of the radiator.
