Electronic transmission or not?

I have a 1999 tahoe and I don't know if my TRANNY is electronic or not.

Can someone tell me a way to distinguish between the two types of transmissions?

It is electronic,look for a big grey plug which is a 4l60E from the bottom,a big Nuetrual safety switch in the shift lever shaft on the 1996 and up 4L60Es and this started in 1993.1992 and down are cable shifts and these need the throttle valve cable which is needed to be hooked up or you will burn the transmission up.The inside parts from a 700R4 and 4L60E interchange except the valve body and wiring.One improvement in the 700R4s and 4L60Es are inside the direct drum,which have 5 black springs.GM says to put them back in and the aftermarket says to throw them away.The aftermarket found out those 5 black spring restrict the clutches from floating,burn up the top clutch first and burning up the rest right away.

All 94 up GM trucks are electronic.
