Whats wrong with this picture?

My buddy got his new head for his car today. He showed it to me not knowing what to do with it. It's re-manufactured.

Your missing something, dont know what to call it, but it gets screwed in 1.5" down and 1" in from the top left corner.

No... It's got all its parts.

Uh, you have to remove the bubble wrap prior to installation? :biggrin:


But it looks like one of the cams is still in it.

the cam plates are wrong... or not in the right order.

Meh... you guys are getting so close! I'll just tell you. The company that remanufactured this setup actually painted the head. However they didn't paint the parts individually. The bolted it all back together and just sprayed. The cams are even painted. Now my buddy has to stip the paint of a bunch of parts so it will work properly and wont leave paint chips all over the place and gum up the motor!

Send it back and demand a refund.

Don't waste your time stripping that paint! Send it back and demand what you paid for!

I guess the bubble wrap will protect from further damage,he didn't want to scratch that nice paint Job.

He probably got it from LKQ ,and cleaned + Painted it befor putting it on
Craigslist or Ebay.

Wow, how little do you have to know about cars to paint the camshafts? That is unreal stupidity and if whoever did this considers themself a business, they deserve to go broke.
