94 s10 blazer

I have an s10 blazer with a new ac compressor. I replaced all parts and hoses including dryer. The ac runs and low pressure switch works. Ac cools but when compressor shuts off automatically it won't come back on unless you rev the engine. I cleaned every plug connector i could find but still happens intermittently. It really does it mostly at stop lights.

Next time it "does not come back on" - tap on the front of the clutch with a wooden hammer handle- while engine is running- if clutch snaps back in- then your clutch air gap is too wide- probably .050" more. It needs to be set to .020" - you can do this by "borrowing" the necessary clutch installation tool from Autozone..
