Keyless entry wire question

Hey guys i am asking for confirmation on a wire i found while i was checking on my OEM keyless entry thats installed. I basically have it wired up and it is getting power. I know it does work because as soon as i hooked up power to it the power locks responded to the RKE box. I am trying to find the wire that you ground out to reprogram the box to accept new FOB signals. The haynes manual says its the black/white wire but on mine its hooked up to the Anti-theft negative L.E.D lead. I do see on the box there is a connected wire that is white with a yellow strip hooked into the box labled "finder"

I am really close in just reseting the frequencies on the box so that my FOB will work. Can anyone who drives a 97 through a 98 lumina confirm this? I checked my trunk, i dont have the port where you can ground out in the trunk to reset the RKE. :icon16:

Thanks guys.
