factory alarm going off randomly

I Have A 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix That The Alarm Goes Off Several Times In A Day. Have Tried Changing Modes According To Owners Manual And Adjusting Sensitivity With The Parking Lamps. Is Their Any Way To Just Disable It. Any Info Would Be Appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to AF.
You should be able to disable the Content Theft Deterrent System. Using the parking light switch get into Mode 3 (3 chimes). See p. 2-20 of your Owner's Manual.
