what other cars in 1970 have the same steering column as the 1970 elcamino so i could replace the one i have and possibly pull the part from a junkyard

I believe all the 1968 - 1972 GM A-body cars used the same column.
The A-bodies included the Chevelle, Cutlass, Skylark, LeMans, GTO

It's easy enough to do yourself so long as you have a steering wheel puller.
What is wrong with the one you have?

someone tried to steel it and the got the wheel off and i think they damaged the turn signal harness and turn signal lever elcamino store has those parts so i think i can do it for less than 50 dollars unless i am missing something

Well, whoever tried to steal it did not know what they were doing.
GM used that basic column design into the 1990's and cars so equipped are easy to steal, but in doing so they smash the outer column housing.
If the housing is good on yours the internal parts are pretty much all replaceable.

ya the housing is in good shape they didnt pry the housing off they unbolted the wheel and the harness and slid that piece(of the housing) back and tried to arc the ignition but they had no battery so they broke the ignition and turn signal lever a new column is about 400 in the magazine and pick n pull wont just have a 1970 chevelle laying around with a complete column and i think i can get away with replacing the internal parts that were damaged
