Compass issue

Has anyone else had this problem? For one reason or another, during winter when it's snowing, my rearveiw mirror goes nuts. The compass gets scrambled, and the mirror turns off and on. I can also hear a clicking under the dash when it does this. I had the mirror replaced once already. Please help
