fuel problems 92 celica

:banghead: i got a celica put a new timing belt in it and new plugs. it runs great but only gets 9 miles per gallon of gas. it chungs at a certain point in the throtle, and smokes gas not oil it smells real bad even at an idle it smokes and just reaks of unburned fuel. where should i start? i have checked and tested every thing i can think of>:screwy:

i would check for a fuel injector stuck open, that would explain, running rich, the horrible chugg at certain points in your throttle position, and terrible gas mileage.
