1 - got a flat
2- got new tires
3- needed an alignment
....
dude wouldn't / couldn't do my alignment because my bushings are bad and he doesn't have the special 'offset wrench' needed to do it???

so...

1 - WHAT the heck wrench do i need to buy
2 - WHERE the heck do i buy it
3 - what bushings do i need to order???

people at the stupid chevy dealer / parts store are being NO help!

i vaguely remember having to do this on my '99 blazer... so i know it can be done... so...

someone? anyone? out there know how / where / what do do from here??? please email me ASAP

THANK YOU!!!!

hello alpha, not sure of which model/year & i'm guessing on which bushings are worn out but..
if its the control arm bush there is a special tool but dont think you have to use it.basicly remove arm press/drive old bush out (i use an air hammer)& then grease the new bush & press it in using a large socket the same size
there are other bushings on your car & i'm guessing which ones your talking about.good luck

sorry... missing info

POS Chevy S10 2000

front driver side tire is 6.5 degrees off, passenger tire is 1.0 degrees off

apparently it needs a special wrench... because chevy likes to make things as fucking hard as possible to fix....

any ideas???????? i'm ready to scream!

As said you do not need special wrench for installing bushings.
Just replace the bushings and what all else is worn out and look for another alignment shop.
If a special wrench is required to realign front end let the alignment shop buy it or take care of it.
Good Luck
