I have a 1995 blazer(4 door) that wont drive right. When im driving i have to constantly ease off the gas and then gun it, to get into different gears. It makes a loud whistling sound whenever i hit the gas when driving. The harder i push the louder it gets. And when i ease up on the gas the noise eases up. Also along with the whistle is another noise, a real loud "vibrating hum". this noise works the same as the other, something to do with hitting the gas pedal. Car almost stalled earlier going up a hill, but jammed on the gas and it made it. Another thing is that pushing the gas harder doesnt really make me go much faster, just louder. Taking a long time to build up speed. Also, this wasnt gradual, one day it drove fine and the next it was like this. Any help will be appreciated.

Whers is the area of noise?
Any check engine lights or codes
What is the vacuum reading at idle and at 2K rpm?

The whistling noise can be a vacuum leak, air intake leak. The upper intake gaskets can become brittle and break causing a vacuum leak, poor acceleration(running to lean as a result of a leak) and poor power.
As for the humming, that could be a front wheel bearing starting to make noise.

another reason your engine could be running odd is that maybe the EGR is clogged that happened to me and it seemed like my engine forgot how to run it would lose a ton of power then i'd floor it it would stall i'd pop it netural and restart it and it'd would run fine after that
to remove it is 2 10 or in some cases 11 mm hex-head bolts before you you clean it, goy buy a new EGR gasket 9 times out of 10 it doesn't survive being removed
more than likely is a combanation of 2 or more things to get my truck running right i had to clean the EGR replace the intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) and replace every vacuum line in the engine bay
