Hi, all, I'm replacing an AC compressor in a 94 Plymouth Voyager LE with a 3.3 engine and no rear air.
The old compressor was burned up and had absolutely no oil in it. I'm wondering how much oil to put in the new compressor? I'm thinking about 4 to 6 ounces, but was hoping that someone here might know......... thanks!

According to this Refrigerant Capacity Listings (http://www.napabeltshose.com/downloads/download_common.cfm?file=NapaCapacityGuide2-8-05.pdf&folder=news&view=napa_hc) table, you're looking at 6.75 oz of PAG 46.
If the old compressor burned up the way you said, I hope you're replacing the condenser, and flushing all the lines and the evaporator to get rid of the metal shrapnel that was spewed into the system when the compressor burned up.
