1990 caprice, 305 c.i. Engine code E.
The shop wants 199, 55 for the part, the rest labor.
Would this be a fairly simple job? It's located in the dist. cap from what the shop said.

this is easy to do it is at base of inside of distributor ...be care full of the connector...

Yes - two external wire plugs, one internal plug and two screws. Comes right out. Make sure you use the heatsink paste for the new one.
