Okkkayy, so, I'm seriously retarded when it comes to car stuff, but I'm going to attempt to learn, by working on my own car.
I'm probably scooping up a 95/96 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo by the end of this winter, and plan on having most of the general body work done first, with a few changes under the hood.
First thing I'm looking at, is i dont want the turbo charger, rather swap it out with a supercharger (but i'll rock the turbo charger for the time being), and also, i'm looking to shove in a better engine without having to chop away at the poor car because with my luck i'll screw something up. So, 5 grand or less, whats my best option for engines?

$5k or less? Nothing because the TT motor would be your best bet for that. And as far as supercharging it, I would stay clear unless you wan't to spend a LOT of money and get less power and have less power potential. Just spend time working on the motor that it comes with as it has enough potential as it is. And just a FYI if you get a factory turbo 1996 Stealth you may want to hold on to that for dear life as there were next to none made.

Right around 56 iirc. Anywho, SL is 100% right. $5K might cover the expenses trying to get a supercharger to work correclty on a RT/TT, but for that much you could get a full TD05 kit. Stick with the snails.
