Hey everyone. I am going to replace my shift solenoids on my 93 S10 Tahoe. I am having a problem ordering them from advance auto. I can clearly see the 3-2 shift solenoid but the only other solenoid listed is one for the torque converter lockup. Is this also the one that controls the 4-1 shifts? That is the one that failed on me. My blazer has no 1 gear or OD. Thanks all.

On a 93 you will have 4 sols. 3-2 downshift, shift sol A, shift sol. B, TCC sol which is best relpaced with the complete harness. Whats the code that you are getting?
these should be the shift solenoids,

Hey Troy first of all thanks for the reply. I am not getting a code. My trans is stuck in third unless I put it in second. The trans will shift 2-3 3-2 when necessary. I spoke to a very reputable trans shop and to avoid a swap the guy told me to replace the solenoids. I talked to the dude at autozone today and he had the exact problem. He changed his solenoids and it ended up being the ignition switch. I'm changing my switch first heh. It's only 13 bucks.

Which transmission?
4L60e or 4L80e?
4L60E has.
3 shift solenoids.
1-2 and 2-3 and 3-2
But there is also a pressure control and a tcc solenoid.
Also a pressure control switch and wiring to them from PCM.
Always check wiring.
Best to get it on a transmission capable scanner and see what is going on.
Post back any codes.

It is best to get solenoids and parts from dealer.
