radio static question

i have just started to notice that when i push on the brake i start to get static on radio... i have had the car for a year and it just started doing this. i have never noticed this before, and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue

is this an aftermarket stereo? My guess is that it is a bad ground to your speakers or stereo.
