Fujimi Ferrari speculation

Didn't someone mention a rumor that Fujimi was going to release another classic Ferrari? Was that Hiro?
Just a thought: a Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider? It is a popular Ferrari and just celebrated it's 50th anniversary (Pebble Beach featured them this year).
I don't mean to start a Ferrari wish thread, though! Just expressing a thought.

You mean this post:
ps: I heard a rumor that Hasegawa will release another Ferrari kit.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=5786997&postcount=34
However, I don't care who does it as long as it's a well done, not so expensive kit of a 50-60's Ferrari.
I would love to see a '64 250 GTO in affordable plastic kit! :)

We need a decent kit of 250 TdF. There are so many variations, model companies can make a killing just slightly altering the mold and making various kits.

Thinking about it I wouldn't refuse a nice plastic kit of a 250 MM or a 375 MM! :grinyes:

Well, honestly if Fujimi's doing another classic Ferrari then I'm hoping it's a continuation of their excellent series of curbside 60's/70's sports racing cars.
The world needs a plastic Ferrari 512M. I mean, we have the Heller/Union/Testors Ferrari 512S, a vacuformed transkit by UMI for said Heller/Union/Testors Ferrari 512S, the OOP Fisher curbside, and the wicked expensive Model Factory Hiro kit.
Fujimi kitted the Porsche 917K, the Ferrari's rival, so isn't this car a natural for that series of kits?
Still, in terms of road cars there's a lot of uncovered territory too. Personally, a 250GT Lusso, a 166M Barchetta, or (as stated before) a 250GT California would fill huge gaps in the list of available Ferraris. A brand-new 250LM would be welcome, too.

I would love to have any one of these kits released in full detail plastic at a Fujimi or Hasegawa price. :grinyes:
However, I would also be very happy with the others you mention as well.

No that's not me, but I know Fujimi's next Ferrari is 641/2 in 1/20 scale.
Besides that, I hope Fujimi makes the best use of the 250 GTO parts, and release SWB and Lusso. I'll even live with inaccuracies as long as they make good-looking bodies.
I also expect the new California by Christmas, but that's a pure guess.

Yeah but Hasegawa only makes 1/24 F1 kits, no 1/20.:frown:
