anti theft alarm

I have a 98 Honda Passport/Rodeo
I just bought it. The alarm system is on constantly and I can't start the car.
The remotes do not work.
I have tried pulling fuses (#18) TO NO AVAIL.
i'VE TRIED USING YOUR PROCEDURE TO DISABLE THE ALARM that is in the frequently ashed question section. toggling key and the open door method.
I've tried using the procedure in the repair manual to program the remotes. Toggleing key and open/closing door method. It don't work.
Is there some way to just rip that system out? Could someone help me out?
