Fluid Recycling

Hi everyone,
For the DIY crowd, I know most part stores will accept used engine oil. But what about used transmission fluid? Every part store in my vicinity says nope. I assume I could take the used fluid to a tranny shop, but I also assume that they would charge me for accepting it. Same with used brake fluid and antifreeze.
Any suggestions?

I found the answer... While I was reading more threads, I had Autoweek on the tube, in the background. Talking about guess what? Recycling. They said most manufacturers websites have search tools that will find a recycling location for you.
I also found this site that will find locations for almost anything recyclable: http://earth911.org/recycling/
