2001 GA Blower/Switch issue

Hi,
This is my first post. I bought an '01 GA for my daughter yesterday. It has a few minor problems. I'm currently replacing the brakes lines and the fuel lines. I also noticed that the blower motor operates only on setting "5". There are a lot of smart people on here who can probably point me in the right direction. Should I look at the switch, the motor itself or a resistor? Thanks in advance for your help... Jeff

The blower motor resistor is bad.

Yes it sounds like the resistor, here is a link with the procedure.

Awesome, thanks a lot. I am working a 48 hour shift at present. I'll start on it on Wednesday. Thanks again...

Or you can get a small extension, that has a swivel included for the socket connection on the extension. It made much easier for me, I also took out the front seat. That way I could lay down, much easier on my broken back.

Yes it can be hell on the old back! :grinyes:

On thing the insulation and rubber mat on the fire wall is kinda thick and in the way, compressing it several times should give you a little more room as with removing the blower. :2cents:
