I have a drivers window stuck in the down position. It rolled down fine, and the pass window goes up/down fine. You can hear and feel a distinct click when you press the down button on the drivers side, but there is nothing on the up position.
That being said, I suspect it is the switch. I took it out, and from what I can tell by ohming it out also, the up switch isn't making contact. Can anyone tell me how to get the buttons off the switch itself? I don't want to break them, but they have to come off to get the switch apart. I tried prying, but they are not budging... I apreciate any help or suggestions!

Just a follow up in case anyone else has the same issue. It was the contacts in the window switch itself. Yes! :) I was able to get the buttons off by holding the switch in a vise and using two larger-blade screwdrivers to pry ea. of them off. The window buttons ea. chipped off underneath where they snap on the switch itself, but I superglued the pieces back on with Loctite 435 and it held when I snapped it back together.
The contacts were all black with carbon and I just scrubbed with a toothbrush and sprayed with elec. contact cleaner. Scuffed them up a little with a small riffler file and relubed the rocker with dielectric grease. Lubed the rails and rollers of the mechanism right away as long as I had that door panel off... Good to go for another 200K miles!?! :)
