F&F 1, Eclipse

So this was one of my first builds after going on a 5 year hiatus. I wish I would have know how poor of a job AMT did on this kit prior to starting it, I would have waited till later. I blame Universal Pictures for rushing them on it. Too bad, because it was a pretty cool car. If you saw my WIP, (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=907294) it took a lot of work to get this bastard right.

I also shrunk the wing down as it was way too huge in it OOB form. I couldn't find any way to lower the front though.

Here are the finished results. I botched the top decal, if anybody has one to spare, I'd gladly take it. If not, no sweat.

This is the best that I was able to do with the kits sorry-a*$ excuse for a motor. I was going to do more detail, but I lost interest.

All in all I guess I'm glad this was one of my first kits, because it helped hone some of my skills.

Considering what you had to begin with, I think you did quite well with it! :sunglasse

I have to agree with Tonioseven. I know it's a craptastic kit, but you did an outstanding job putting it all together!
