That paint job looks so good that maybe your dad could be Pman. :D j/k

Did you watch him? How did he do it? Be specific. '

BTW is your dad going to restore that mustang?

Like bah humbug said - did you watch your dad?

yes i did watch him...it is actual paint used on cars...so he jus goes smoothly back and forth from the bottom the the car to the top very evenly so the pearl doesn't clump up...then he lets it dry for like 10 minutes and puts the clear coat on then it bakes in the spraybooth for like an hour so it is able to be touched...but it aint ready to be done stuff to until about a day or so...this mite be kinda confusing tell me if ya dont understand

bah humbug
03-22-2003, 12:08 PM
THX!
Just 2 more questions.

When you said smoothly did you mean slowly?
How many coats did he give it?

When you say 'bake' - how hot was it?

Blowncivic1320
03-22-2003, 12:15 PM
he went at an even pace slow enough to cover the car but fast enough so there weren't runs on the car...kinda hard to explain the speed...and also he went over the car about 3 times...he would spray the car totally step away for a second and then spray it again and he did that 3 times...hope this helped

What the heck do you mean?!

Everything gets hot when you heat it. Maybe I'm missing something. :lol2:

Wow the car looks amazing......i glad you showed me this site ...im getting so much info for my next few kits......btw..the heated look is like when you have the tip of the exhaust looking like the middle of a candle the blue glow....kinda like that its hard to explain

It probably changes the paint color to look like it has been used.

Integra14
03-22-2003, 03:03 PM

Looks unreal! I suggest you put a Pipe coming from the exhaust under the chassis, it wont look as big and out of scale.

Blowncivic1320
03-22-2003, 03:40 PM
There is a pipe it is the same size as the stock piping uunder the car
