dies when you give gas

I am having trouble with a 1994 mazda protege. The car starts without a hitch but as soon as I give it gas, it shuts right off. I have changed the fuel pump, the fuel filter, and the air intake sensor. I have checked the spark plugs, and checked for loose connections, etc. but still nothing. It's driving me crazy :banghead: Any ideas anyone??

Do you mean the MAF or MAP sensor. Not sure which that one has, or do you mean the air temp sensor on the air box?
