How do you program keyless remote on a 2003 alero?

I know how to do it on my 03' Silverado is it the same?

Programming the RKE for Alero is the same as Grand Am so check out the link below. However, for 2001 and up Alero you will need to take it to a GM dealer where they will use a Tech 2 scan tool.
