I have an xfi parts car, i removed the cam, but i dont know for sure that it is the original motor. is there a way to tell that it is a xfi cam. the only markings on the cam are R1 and a B thanks for your help

Never heard of an LXI. Is it an XFI that the cam is out of or a LSI ?

thanks for the correction ,it is an XFI, i will try to edit title , could not edit title so i edited the tex thanks again for your reply

To find out if you have an XFI cam , measure the outside diameter of the lobes. If it is 1.56 inch or less it is XFI. The standard engine cam is 1.59 or about .030 more lift. Ken.

thanks for the info. i measured the lobes and they were in the 155 range with one 154 so it is a xfi. the next question is would i benifit from a 10 degree cam gear THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

The XFI cam already has advance built into it.
