weird problem

i have a 95 caprice. i have a sound system in my car ok when im jus runing my car without the stero on and i turn the turning signals on i can hear them thumping throw the speakers what can that be

Its some kind of electrical interference. I have the same problem but worse cuz whenever you step on the gas you can hear the rear speakers "which run off of a separate amp" whining according to the RPMs of the engine. I'm not even sure how to fix it but maybe it could be a bad ground? Silicon212 might know.

Use a fully electronic, solid state turn signal flasher.

If you're getting alternator whine, get a capacitor/choke kit for it. You can get these in CB shops or places that sell mobile ham radios.

I run CB equipment in my car so I've had to take these measures myself.
