95 Rodeo 3.2 v6 - Bucking and stalling out only with initial acceleration, and only after it's warmed up. Replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and cleaned out the throttle body. The plugs look good and so do the wires. I have to feather the throttle out nice and easy or it wants to buck. After the initial acceleration the Rodeo drives great, even idles fine when I let up and come to a stop. The engine light comes on when I turn on the key so I know it works, but does not flash a code.
My buddy said the same thing happened with his car, something to do with the gas/air mixture that the ecm controls. That once I start the car the throttle is wide open but when it's warmed up the ecm takes over. Said he went to a junkyard found one, replaced it and it worked fine after that. He showed me where his was located but we couldn't find it on mine.
Incidently another buddy thinks it might be a cracked head or that the fuel filter should be replaced yet again just because the fuel tank was dropped and schmeggie could still be floating around in there. There are no signs of antifreeze in plugs or leaking out from vehicle at all.
Tks,
Joe
