man, these panels on these cars are a MESS, they arent mounted very well and all pretty cracked up. but car should be better and badder when its all done..

Heh... you will have quite a chore. Ive found that there really are not exactly two parts the same. Very close but not quite the same. the different chassis I guess is a factor, plus some things came through technical partnerships (Lanier Tech). These are very odd cars, but none the less....
You probably would be well off to simply even out the edges, form fit to the exact lenghts for the chassis and mounts. At the end of the day, the outside is the most important, lots of the other parts sort of hold each other together ;)

I love the blue. Is it a Nissan color, or something you've had mixed up special? I've been planning something similar for my car over the winter. I'm gonna go with an Electron Blue and white ralley stripes.

It's nissan daytona blue aka B17
The blue Z pictured was my "old" 350Z and i loved the color.
I will also be doing silver or gunmetal racing stripes with matching graphics and #'s
