Blower Motor Issues

So, I have had the blower motor, a control module and capacitor done 5 plus times in my 2004 GTP and continue to have issues repeatedly. Every single time it has happened, the dealership has done the work because the frequency falls under the warranty.

Has any one had any long-lasting success in repairing what I am now calling the demonically possessed blower motor? :evillol:

Has any one reported this problem high enough in GM to get some type of permanent solution?

Also, is anyone else experiencing unpredictable engine acceleration just before this happens?

I'm so frustrated!!!:banghead:

Welcome to AF.

How many miles do you have?

5 times. Ouch! We've had other members with '04 and up models with similar issues but I think you take the icing on the cake. Have you contacted GM Customer Service? Maybe an attorney.

what exactly is your demonc blower motor doing? Your 04 , being a changeover year, could have either the Vin-K or Vin-2 3800. The Vin-2 3800's uses an electronic throttle body (no accelerator cable) and that is what could be causing the unexpected acceleration. I haven't heard of ignition switch issues with the 04-up models, but I wonder if you are experiencing some sort of electrical system anomaly that is affecting otherwise unrelated circuits?
