Does your dog.........

Just a question, does your dog howl when either am ambulance, policecar, firetruck, etc. passes your neighborhood with it's sirens going off? My dog always howls when he hears the sirens, does he think it's another dog?

My dog does not.

My dogs bark at about everything else, but i havn't ever heard them bark at sirens.

:) no my dog doesnt howl, but she barks ALOT. and it is soo annoying. she barks at NOTHING. and she doesnt listen to me. heehee:smoker2:

I think some dogs may howl at it because the frequency of the siren hurts their ears...so I have heard. I have a Beagle and he howls at ANYTHING but sirens...go figure :) My Pug howls too. She picked up the Beagle's howl when she was a puppy.

my dogs bark at anything..they see themselves in a window and they will bark at the window for hours

we have two female yorkies. They rarely bark. Unless they are awake that is:frog:

My old Huskey used to howl at sirens all the time.

My dogs only bark at the inbreds that live next door to us.
oh and my English Cocker, William, howls when the song "Take On Me" by Ah-Ha comes on the radio...we sing along together :)

My neighbors dog is quiet all the time, even for sirens, but it goes NUTS when the ice-cream man comes by...

No because my dog's stupid & just thinks it's strangers coming to visit that she can lick.

Every dog ive ever owned Barked at the sirens, and everydog ive ever known barked at sirens.. i believe it does has something to do with the frequency like someone said. its hurts their ears i guess:bloated: :bloated:
