Hi,
I recently had the timing chain replaced in my 02 Galant. After the procedure was complete I noticed that my car is much louder than ever before at highway speeds (almost like it has a racing muffler!!!). There's also a slight jerk when coasting downhill. Could these be signs that the timing chain is too tight?
Thanks for your help!

it sounds like your timing is a little advanced.

waitaminute,
i thought those vehicles came w/ a timing BELT???
if you have the 4 cylinder engine, you have an interference engine
if you have the v6, you don't have interference
nevertheless, go back to the shop who installed your belt to let them re-check their work
