I have a 96 s10 pickup and it keeps quiting. It does this when you are driving it and it has warmed up. I have tried everything I can think of to fix the problem. Now I can't even get it out of the driveway, it runs for 15 seconds and then dies. Does any one have any suggestions. Thanks so much. :bricks1:

What engine and mileage?
What is the everything you have done?
First thing check for lose of spark or fuel pressure when it quits.

the mileage is 130000. I have checked the vacume hoses and I also put a spark and fuel tester on it and it is geting both. I have also changed out the reset button and checked spark plugs and wires. The fuel pump seems to be working fine. I will have to get the engine size for you. Thanks for any help you can provide.

What is the fuel pressure reading?
And what is it reading when it quits?
Spark to all plugs when it quits?
What kind of reset button have you got on it?
4 cyl or V6 engine?

Mine had a bad connection where the wire harness plugs into the fuel pump sending unit. This wa a known problem and you usually need a new fuel pump sending unit the ones from NAPA come with the new connectoe and pigtail to splice in. On a 2 door behind the drivers side rear wheel between wheel well and fram is a plastic splash guard held in with 3 plastic type push in rivets. pull that off and you can wiggle your arm between frame and wheel well to get at harness connector. if you do not hear the fuel pump turn on with key on try that.
