I just changed the plugs in my 01 tahoe because it has hard to start. At first it started good and now a week later it still starts hard again. I was look for some advice on what else it could be.
Thanks Tahoe4x4guy.

have you looked at the plug wires. does it seem to be missing a cylinder when it's running? when you put in the plugs ,did you check the gap before putting them in? i hope you didn't use champion plugs , because chevys don't run worth a damn with them..one of the engines ignition coils could be going bad.you can check wires & coils with an ohm meter.. exwldr........:sunglasse

I'd check the fuel presssure next, need at least 58psi.

yes i agree i would suspect a fuel problem verify pressure is good. next i would look at the fuel filter, has it ever been changed? i have seen these things clog up in as little as a few thousand miles. exwldr

I thought it might be fuel but the part i don`t get is when i start it with the remote starter it fire`s up no problem.:banghead:

i assume you are hooking the remote starter right to the starter solenoid.? if so that means you're bypassing the neutral safety switch . which tells me it needs to be checked out. i hear they are a common problem on tahoe's & suburbans.....exwldr:sunglasse
