Rear door stuck

Hi,

Just bought a used 2003 Sedona, and the rear hatch / door is stuck... It seems like the handle is pressed up, because I cannot grip / push it up further.

Any ideas short of unscrewing something form the inside to pop it open?

Yes it is unlocked :)
