Poly Mounts install

Well I purchased the offset poly dog bone mounts from ZZP and I am having issues with the install. First the 15mm OE bolts would not fit in the new mounts, so I purchased a set of 14mm grade 8 bolts from a hardware store and installed them. The new mounts have a lot of slop. I sent pics to ZZP and they said that they looked like they were installed wrong. If they are wrong I do not know what would be right. here are some pics. I installed the Power log, self made cold air intake, ZZP 1.0 pcm, 180 degree thermostat, and fabricated a custom 2.5" exhaust with 40 series flowmaster mufflers, yet I can not install a engine mount.... :) any help will be appreciated.

no it is not lowered. The upper dog bone mounts as you can see in the pic has a big gap, that causes it to move and knock when accelerating.

Oh ok, I understand now. I would contact ZZP and have them make it good. Or at least have them send you install instructions, and once you get them, email them back and tell them thats exactly how you put them in.

yeah I sent them pics already, and he said that they looked like they were in wrong. I just sent them some better pics. Like I said, I can not see how they are wrong. The tabs are right where they should go. I knew there was going to be a problem when the stock bolts would not fit in the new mounts. I cut out the old ones so I had no choice but to install the poly mounts. Hopefully they can make it right.

The ZZP poly mounts are garbage. Wait 'til they start squeaking. :eek:

How much of the spacer the bolt goes through is showing on each end? Can't tell by the pics.

Yeah, I cut the old ones. That is what their link to the directions said to do. I can get another OE set really cheap If I have to though.
The spacer bolts are flush with the poly mounts..... So I spent 60 bucks for Garbage, that sucks. What brand should I go with for these mounts and any other mounts or bushings ? Do you think they will exchange the mounts for something else, anybody know their policies?

I think you can return to ZZP but returns are subject to a restocking fee.

What mounts do you guys use? I want to get another but I am not sure who has the best mounts.

Have you tried the ZZP "free mod" stock engine mount stiffening?

I am not sure what that is? before I bought the ZZP poly mounts I turned the stock mounts if that is what you are referring to. my old stock mounts are not in great condition after prying them out for the new ones.
