75' 280Z 2+2 Shock Question

1975 280 that sat in a driveway for 13 years. Owner told me that if I could get it started, I could have it!!! 2 weeks of work and she was awake. Now she's mine!!!!!! Well, all shocks need to be replaced so I bought the shocks themselves, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with the strut assembly. I've gotten everthing taken apart but I'm not sure how to get the absorber out of the tower without damaging it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
