Mr. Moderator:
Could a sticky be put at the top of the forum on which acronyms can be spelled out for those of us unfamiliar with GM acronyms? I've read some posts in which 'UIM' and 'LIM' are prevalent (I've figured those two out as being upper and lower Intake Manifold); however I read a Nov 07 post in which crank position sensors were defined as being 3x, 7x, and 24x. What does the 'x' designate? 'Times Read?' 'PCM' is 'Power Control Module?' I'm moving from Honda acronyms to GM ones, and I want to be sure I"m reading the same as everyone else.
