Swapping out the carb

I have an 85 S10 with the 2.8 and am thinking of getting rid of the carb and putting on a throttle body. Any body ever do this? Would it be a direct replacement or what else would be needed besides the actual throttle body?

Anybody?

It takes a computer and all computer sensors/wiring and a complete change over on wiring and sensors pcm and intake.
