Lsd Unlocked

recently done a lsd swap, seems to be working fine except, for once i thought i would do some donuts , lsd locked for one round then unlocked and toasted inside tire ,havent tried again i dont want to destroy my tires . is this normal for a factory lsd ? ( 95 240SX )

yeah. even if the fluid is new, a vlsd is not designed to deal with the abuse of donuts. its supposed to aid traction in cornering, not create traction in assclownery.
