i got in a crash and the right rear door and back panel are twisted metal now.
its real hard to find doors that are the same year, so i was wondering what other years or doors would fit an 84 4 door caprice classic? and where to get the cheapest deal if you would know of that too.

Depends on where you are ... at Ecology or Pick'n'Pull, a door is about $31 or so. The doors from any 1980-1990 Chevrolet B-body sedan will work (Caprice, Impala).

The price Silicon listed is so unbelieveably dirt cheap that I'm so tempeted to make the trip down to Arizona just to collect Caprice parts. The usual going price for doors that I've seen is anywhere from $50 to $200 depending how complete the door is, and what condition it's in. If you're having trouble finding one locally at any of your junk yards, then go to www.car-part.com and there you should find plenty of doors. Like Silicon said, any Chevy B-bodied car (Caprice, Caprice Classic, Impala, etc) thats not a wagon will work. You can filter your search to somewhere nearby you or if you don't find any luck that way, give one of the out of state places a call and odds are they will ship it to you. I bought a '77 Monte Carlo radiator core support from Texas about six months ago, and they shipped it up to Rochester, NY for me. Total price: $200.
