iam looking for the fuel filter on a 2004 malibu classic it seems like my gas mileage is poor

It should be under the car behind the fuel tank. follow the fuel lines back to the tank you can't miss it

The fuel filter is in the tank and is non-serviceable. A good reason to keep your tank at least 1/4 to 1/2 full and to not let it get too low.

The Fuel filter inline is right in front of the rear axles...between the rearend and your gas tank easy replacement. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

I figured that, the Z has one in the tank. I didn't think the GM would change the old Malibu to the new system.
